BLACKNOSE BEAUTIES SHOW & SALE 2020
Due to the deteriorating situation surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19), and after careful consideration of the latest Government and Public Health guidance, it’s with deep regret that we have decided to cancel the 2020 Blacknose Beauties Show and Sale in H&H, Carlisle.
With the Government advising against attending mass gatherings and further action relating to social distancing, self-isolation and unnecessary travel, the Society fully understands the need and the urgency to work across the industry to minimise the spread of this pandemic and accept that we have an important role to play. VBSSUK prides itself on being a member led organisation, delivering our iconic Show is integral to our members network and we understand the effect of this decision.
We have considered postponement, reducing to a smaller event, but for many reasons, neither of these options are viable. Additionally, our Swiss judges and Swedish compare have also confirmed that they are unable to commit due to uncertainties how the situation will develop in Switzerland and Sweden. Whilst this news is disappointing for everyone, we are sure that you would agree that the health, safety and wellbeing of our members, visitors, exhibitors and supporters is of paramount importance.
